Optical function of G-series glare control film:

Increased center intensity (gain)
Decrease UGR value, helps luminaries meet ANSI/IESNA RP-1-04 and EN12464 glare standards for office/indoor lighting
G-series glare control film (G-film)£º
G-series glare control film is PET based, which includes below 2 thicknesses:
1.PET thickness 3mil (0.075mm), total thickness including microstructure is about 0.1mm. Part No.£º G-Gxxx-PE03-S-M
2.PET thickness 7mi l(0.175mm), total thickness including microstructure is about 0.2mm. Part No.£º G-Gxxx-PE07-S-M
Above 2 types of film are produced in US. The supply format is roll, each roll contains 82 sheets, the sheet size is 610mm x 1830mm.
The UL grade for 7mil PET substrate is VTM-2, glow wire test could pass 750oC.
BVT¡¯s local distributor could cut the film up to customer¡¯s requirement.
G-series glare control laminated board (G-board):
The laminated board is using 3mil PET glare control film and tran***rent plastic board for lamination. The tran***rent board material is usually PC or PMMA.

The substrate thickness, UV resistance grade and UL grade could be specified by customer.

Installation method for edge-lit panel light --- using single glare control film/board
Note:
The G-film/board has one side smooth surface and other side microstructure surface. In the installation method 4~6, if the LGP has smooth surface contacted with G-film/board, there could be wet-out issue. By using microstructure LGP could solve this issue.
When using installation method 4~6, which normal diffuser boards are avoid, the G-film/board should use hexagon pattern to hide the LGP.
Within all the installation methods, the microstructure surface of G-film/board should be facing out ward.
